Who is Vice President Sara Duterte?

Sara Zimmerman Duterte, popularly known as Inday Sara, is the 15th Vice President of the Philippines.

She studied law and earned her degree (LL.B.), building a foundation in legal education before entering public service.

Before her vice presidency, she served as Vice Mayor and Mayor of Davao City in multiple terms, gaining experience in local governance and public leadership.

Some of her flagship programs include Libreng Sakay (free bus rides), mobile food trucks under Kalusugan, livelihood support initiatives, medical and burial assistance through satellite offices, and disaster relief operations.

The OVP operates satellite offices across regions which facilitate direct walk-in or partner hospital–based services for medical and burial assistance, among others.
