Bringing Relief to Commuters: OVP Launches Free Bus Service

To help ease the commuting burden on Filipinos, the OVP — together with the Department of Transportation — launched the Libreng Sakay Program to provide free bus rides along key routes during peak hours. This initiative is designed not only to reduce congestion and lower transport costs, but also to support the daily mobility of workers, students, and families who rely on public transportation every day. Through this program, we aim to bring comfort, relief, and real assistance to the commuting public. Every free ride is a step toward a more accessible, more compassionate, and more people-centered government service.
